Acceptance into the Examination

  • All candidates who respond to this advertisement by registering by the deadline and whose applications are tentatively accepted and determined to be in order by the Commission in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Notice of Examination will be given Roll numbers and issued Admission Certificates (AC) for taking the computer-based examination. Then, admission certificates for the examination’s next stages will be given to qualified students.
  • The Commission won’t perform a thorough review of applications for eligibility and other factors at the time of the computer-based exam and PET/PST, thus a candidate’s application will only be accepted provisionally. Candidates must review the requirements for education, age, physical and medical standards, etc., and choose for themselves whether they qualify for the position. Candidacy will be revoked and the Commission’s decision will be final if any claim made in the application is found to be unsupported during scrutiny.
  • Admission Certificates will only be awarded online for all examination stages. No stage of the examination’s admission certificate will be sent by postal mail. Candidates are recommended to routinely check the websites of SSC-HQ, the relevant SSC Regional Office, and the CRPF for updates on the hiring process.

Therefore, candidates are recommended to often check the websites of the Commission Headquarters (i.e. https://ssc.nic.in), the CRPF, and the concerned Regional Office of the Commission under whose authority the candidate’s chosen examination centres are located .
  • About two weeks prior to the exam date, information regarding the examination, including the timetable and City/Center of examination for the applicants, will be released on the websites of the respective Regional Office of the Commission. One week before to the exam date, if any candidate cannot locate their information on the Commission website, they must immediately get in touch with the relevant Regional Office of the Commission and provide documentation of their application submission. He will be denied any claim for payment if he doesn’t comply.
