How To Apply For Pan Card :
- Visit the official NSDL website, then on the following screen, select “Application Type”
- The sort of application you intend to submit should be selected (Form 49A for Indian citizens, Form 49AA for foreign citizens)
- Choose a category from the drop-down option at this point.
- Following that, carefully fill out your details.
- Choose whether you want the title Shri, Smt, or Kumari to display on your PAN card.
- Your initial name, middle name, and last name should be entered in the blanks ( if there is any)
- Choose your DOB, incorporation date, or formation date using the format DD/MM/YY displayed below.
- Keep track of your current email address to ensure that you receive any PAN-card-related communications.
- Put your current cellphone number in
- Check the box next to the rules.
- after entering the CAPTCHA code, submit your application.
- You will then be forwarded to a page where you must pay Rs. 93 to obtain your PAN card. Choosing Form 49AA will require a payment of Rs. 864.
- You may use a credit card, debit card, net banking, check, or DD to make payments.
- You will get an acknowledgement number page once your PAN card application has been submitted successfully. Print it off and store it for later use.
- Mail the acknowledgement receipt to the Income Tax Department together with a passport-sized image attached, signed in black pen. Within 15 days after the date of the online application, send your residential proof, identity proof, or other supporting papers along with the receipt.
- Your PAN card number will be delivered to your registered mobile number and email address once your documents have been confirmed.
How To Do Correction In Pan Card :
Step 1: Go to the NSDL E-Governance website, www.tin-nsdl.com.
Step 2: Select “PAN” from the Services Section.
Step 3: In the “Change/Correction in PAN Data” box, click “Apply.”
Step 4: Choose “Modifications or Correction in existing PAN data/Reprint of PAN Card (No changes in Existing PAN Data)” from the “Application Type” dropdown menu.
Step 5: Choose the appropriate assessee category from the “Category” drop-down box. For instance, if your PAN is registered in your name, choose “Individual” from the list.
Step 6: At this point, fill in your name, birthday, email address, and mobile number.
Step 7: Complete the captcha and press “Submit.”
Step 8: Your request will be registered, and the email address you gave will receive a token number. By selecting the button located beneath it, you can get on with the process.
Step 9: You will then be taken to the form, where you can choose one of three ways to submit your documents. Select “Submit scanned pictures with e-Sign on NSDL e-gov.”
Step 10: Complete all the fields, including the ones for your Aadhaar number, your mother’s name (if applicable), and your father’s name. Then click “Next.”
Step 11: A new page will now be opened so you can change your address.
Step 12: Upload all required documents, including PAN, address, age, and identification proofs.
Step 13: Sign the declaration, then press “Submit.”
You will be taken to the payment page in step 14 of the process. Demand draughts, net banking, and credit/debit cards can all be used for payment.
Step 15: A receipt slip will be produced following a successful payment. The applicant should print it out and return it, along with the physical verification of documents, to the NSDL e-gov office. Additionally, add two photos to the area provided, along with a sign. On the top of the envelope, write “Application for PAN Change” and the acknowledgement number.

How To Check Pan Card Status :
As a preliminary step, go to the NSDL website at https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pantan/StatusTrack.html.
Step 2: From the menu, choose “Track PAN Status.”
Step 3: Next, under “Application Type,” select “PAN-New/Change Request.”
Step 4: Enter your 15-digit acknowledgement number in the field that is presented.
Step 5: To check the status of your PAN card application, enter the captcha code in the space provided.
Step 6: From the menu, choose “Submit.”
Step 7: A screen will display your NSDL PAN Card’s current status.
